Module 1:  The American Experience: Cultural Orientation for Working and Living in the USA

Overview:  This one or two day cultural orientation program provides employees from abroad with the necssary tools for making their transition to the United States a smooth, successful one.  Our experienced intercultural trainers focus on each individual’s unique situation, both at home and in the work place. This results in a culturally fluent, well-adjusted international employee.

Program Objectives:

Module 2:  Cultural Orientation: Family Support

Overview: International employees are often accompanied to the United States by family members .  Because spouses or children often don’t have the structure and support of a workplace, it is not unusual for them to struggle with the process of adjusting to life in the United States.  Feelings of isolation, frustration and unhappiness are not unusual.  Through training and counseling, AGC’s Family Support Program helps family members navigate their way though the challenging transition of living in a new country.

Module 3:  Global Business Communication Skills

Overview:  This series of communication programs offers non-native English speaking professionals the opportunity to expand their speaking and writing skills.  Components of this module include Business English, Everyday English, Phone Skills, E-mails Skills, Presentation Skills and Business Writing Skills.

Program Objective:  To maximize specific speaking and writing skills for non-native business professionals.

Module 4A: Multicultural Team Building

Module 10: Executive Cultural Immersion Program

        

Overview:

This group training program is designed for non-U.S. companies looking to expand their employees intercultural competence.  Through a combination of classroom presentations by reknowned international business experts, along with hands-on, real life activities in the local community, participants gain valuable cross-cultural skills and understanding.
